I love this album, its one of those joints you throw on and just let it ride, front to back. The first cut is the legendary Afrika Bambaata doing what he does best, cutting it up on the wheel of steel. This track is 25 minutes of dope, Bambaata cutting through sample after sample and just rocking it the whole time. the rest of the tracks are other artist putting in work and showing what they have and while none are as dope as bambaata's they still hold the album together well and are very enjoyable.

Its almost hard to call this a hip hop album, each track has a wildly different sound, bouncing from hip hop to disco and not missing a beat, every track works so well together and yet sounds so unique that its really nothing you ever have to worry about getting tired of. also listen close and im sure you'll hear a lot of things here that would be jacked by later producers, I was astounded by how many things I heard on other cats records that were taken from this. At the end of the day you may come for the Bambaata, but you'll stay for the rest of the show, all the tracks here are very worthy of sharing time with Afrika and the whole project is quality.
Choice Cut: Sweet Talk - Cymande

Overall - 5/5
